My Journey With Forgiveness

"I want to be happy."

I was six years old when I first said those words to my mother. Can you imagine being a child and feeling disconnected from your own innate joy? Even then, I sensed there was a version of life that felt lighter, more open, and more free.

So I found ways to placate myself to cope with that lack of inner joy. I became a shy, quiet nerd, escaping into video games and blaming other people for why I was so unlikeable. I used video games, and that whole identity as a social reject, like a drug to escape from the real world — a world where I felt insecure, jealous, and disconnected from my true self.

I became so addicted to video games — and to my own BS — that my university placed me on academic probation.

It was a major "what the f*** am I doing?" moment for me.

Determined to transform, I immersed myself in self-improvement, and in 2009 experienced a motivational speech from Hal Elrod at a marketing company I would later join. That speech lit a fuse in me, revealing my calling in life: to help people become the best versions of themselves.

From the outside looking in, I was building a great life. But then, the real test came:

I developed crippling, life-altering anxiety.

For a year, I lived with daily panic attacks and a constant, low hum of dread in my body. The world told me this was my new normal — that anxiety was a life sentence, and I had to just learn how to live with it. I refused to accept that.

Through sheer force of will and deep inner work, I completely cured myself of anxiety. I have remained anxiety-free for nearly seven years.

Victory was mine. But when I tried to help others do the same, I hit a wall.

I found that even though people claimed to hate having anxiety, they didn't truly want to let it go. Their stories of hurt, their identities as victims, their grudges — all their baggage was too precious to them. They were clinging to the very weight that was drowning them.

That's when I discovered the real key.

I immersed myself in the study of modern therapeutic modalities like NLP, CBT, and hypnosis, but the real breakthrough came when I discovered an ancient Hawaiian forgiveness practice called Ho'oponopono. It was a stunning revelation: unforgiveness was the lock on the door to freedom. People couldn't move forward because they were chained to the past.

I took this discovery and created The Re-Pattern Method — a powerful synthesis of the most effective tools designed to release the root cause of suffering: the weight of unforgiveness.

This work is the culmination of my life's journey. It's the answer to the six-year-old who just wanted to be happy. It's the solution for the young entrepreneur who felt crushed by anxiety. And it's the map I now offer to you.

True freedom, lasting abundance, and real peace are found when you finally become open to releasing what's been holding you back.

You have a choice. And it can begin today.

Beyond Coaching

When I'm not doing coach things, you can find me making electronic dance music, playing Dance Dance Revolution, and walking my sweetheart of a dog, Neko, through the streets of Portland or the nearby trails in the Columbia River Gorge.

Ultimately, though, I want you to know that forgiveness is possible for you, no matter what you've been through. You really truly can have it all, and it would be an honor to help you get it.
